Welcome to my blog. I will be using this blog to share my thoughts on a variety of topics; business, taxes, family, economy, sports, etc. Hopefully this will be informative and entertaining for you. I've been an industry and public accountant for over 25 years and am currently raising three boys that you will hear much more about if follow my future posts.
Why start a blog? Good question, I've wondered where this social media explosion is leading us. I read this article today that retailers are leaning heavily on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites to generate more business. And with this weekend showing the biggest Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales figures in recent memory, its only going to increase from here. (I think any hope of restricting Black Friday midnight store openings just went out the window. Sorry disgruntled target employee guy, the numbers don't lie. But that's a blog post for another day.) So the point is that in order to get your message across is to embrace this 'new normal' way of doing business and communicating with one another.
